As we move into recovery efforts, we have now partnered with Gunny Cole, a retired marine that specializes in disaster relief operations. Gunny is based in Knoxville and has procured 20 emergency shelters that will be delivered to flood victims. The first delivery will be tomorrow night (Nov. 1) to an 82-year-old woman from Cocke County. Her RV burned to the ground prior to the flood and then the building she was living in was washed away by flood waters. Tate\u2019s Foundation is funding supplies for at least six of these shelters. WVLT will be covering this story soon. We are still accepting contributions and welcome your support. Help us outfit these shelters to give hope to those struggling to recover.
