One of Tate’s School’s fun traditions is our annual Thanksgiving Play! This year, our first graders performed, telling the story of Thanksgiving through drama, humor, song, and a very special music video featuring Mrs. Tate. Some students portrayed Pilgrims and Native Americans as they told the story of Plymouth Colony. Other students portrayed celebrity farm animals, a farm family, and Tom Turkey in a humorous skit where characters travelled through time in various vehicles to the big Hollywood premiere of Tom’s movie as he tried to hide from the farmer. Lucky for Tom, he was to be their guest at a vegetarian Thanksgiving meal! Great job First Grade! Everyone was reminded of the importance of family and gratefulness this holiday season.<\/p>\n
