We are so blessed to be surrounded by wonderful families, educators, children, and helpers! Thank you to all the families that brought in donations this week. Thank you to all the shoppers who worked to use cash donations to purchase the requested items so quickly. Special thanks to Chef Advantage Team who donated $1000 of food to deliver! Our Tate’s community is ready, willing, and determined to help!
Good News! We have so many supplies, we had to rent a U-HAUL truck in addition to the trailer being donated by 4THEM Sanctuary. Tate’s Middle School students will be working hard to organize and sort the donations. Learning to give back to the community is an important life lesson.
Around Noon today, Friday, October 4th, we will depart for Greene County with around estimated 250 gallons of water, cases of Gatorade, canned meals & soups, paper products, cleaning supplies, snacks for kids, baby formula, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, pet food, and so much more!
Thank you for helping our neighbors in Greene County! This is definitely an underserved area, and residents are being told they are not eligible for federal or state emergency assistance. We will continue to assess need in these areas and offer assistance with your support.
