HURRICANE RELIEF FUND
Mission
Our mission is to provide disaster relief supplies, food, and support to people and animals in need in Tennessee and North Carolina.
Join Us
If you want to help those affected by Hurricane Helene, you have come to the right place. Our neighbors in surrounding counties are in urgent need. By focusing our support efforts on unmet needs AND in underserved areas in Tennessee and North Carolina, we can make the biggest impact.
The Tate’s Community is providing support to McDonald Elementary School (MES) located in Mohawk, TN. MES serves 260 families with students from Preschool – 5th grade.
We have also partnered with Gunny Cole, a retired marine that specializes in disaster relief operations. Gunny is based in Knoxville and has procured 20 emergency shelters that will be delivered to flood victims. The first delivery was in November to an 82-year-old woman from Cocke County. Her RV burned to the ground prior to the flood and then the building she was living in was washed away by flood waters. Tate’s Foundation is funding supplies for at least six of these shelters.
