Tate's 2010 Science Fair

Thank you for your interest in Tate’s Tenth Regional Science Fair. This year the event takes place on April 25-27, 2010.

The Regional Science Fair is an outstanding opportunity for elementary school students to prepare an experiment and display their results. Every student participating in our fair will have the opportunity to dialog with at least three local scientists and gain meaningful scientific knowledge about their project and ideas for possible extensions of their discoveries. All third, fourth, and fifth
graders in the East Tennessee area are welcome to participate.

Below you will find all the registration materials for the fair. You may download and print copies of all the forms and information provided. The forms are in .PDF format and so require that you have the Adobe Reader on your computer. If you do not have Adobe Reader, it is available to you for free from adobe.com.

Teachers and parents: please make sure you read all information carefully with your students.

All entries must be received at Tate’s School on Monday, March 15, 2010 by 3:30 p.m. and should include the following items:

  1. Entry Form & Signature Page (with 3 signatures)
  2. $10 registration fee (Make checks out to TSOD Foundation)
  3. Copy of abstract (250 words maximum)
